About the product

What does Active Dictionary do?

Active Dictionary is a web app for language learners at B1 and above. Read texts and PDFs or study captioned YouTube videos, look up vocabulary in context, save words to a personal dictionary, and review them with spaced repetition. An AI assistant and speaking or writing practice use the current learning material. Public library materials are available without registration; personal features require an account. Freemium with a limited free plan and paid plans from $9/month. YouTube requires captions, PDF support depends on the document, and AI usage limits apply. Submitted by Dmitry Yurkin, CTO at Active Dictionary.
