What does Agent Pulse do?
Agent Pulse is a free, open-source desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux that helps developers monitor AI coding agents at a glance. Always-on-top, draggable status bubbles show when agents are working, waiting for input, idle, or in error.
It integrates with tools including Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot. Usage meters track supported providers’ usage limits, while a local activity timeline provides session history, token usage, and estimated-cost analytics. Optional Discord and Slack notifications help developers notice when an agent needs attention.
Agent Pulse also offers a task backlog with scheduled execution and configurable shell-command guardrails. Activity history is stored locally, with no telemetry. The source code is available under AGPL-3.0 at https://github.com/Dipen-Dedania/agent-pulse.
