What does Bossanova do?
Submitted by TINYGEM, the publisher. Bossanova is a proprietary desktop encrypted vault for text, images and imported .env values. Its optional MCP connection lets approved assistants use stored credentials for permitted HTTPS requests or program execution without Bossanova returning private values in its default tool responses. Connection, field access and operation approval are separate controls. The receiving service or program still receives needed credentials; Bossanova is not an OS sandbox or a guarantee against all disclosure.
Free includes 10 fields on one device. Plus includes 100 fields on two devices for USD 2.99 month-to-month or USD 23.88 billed annually. Pro includes unlimited fields on five devices for USD 5.99 month-to-month or USD 47.88 billed annually. A Bossanova account and periodic online license checks are required. Data can be transferred directly between devices on a local network; automatic cloud sync and team RBAC are not provided. Current documentation: https://bsnv.app/docs .
