What does Cliqroom do?
Watching videos with friends remotely can turn into countdowns and asking whether everyone is at the same point. I built Cliqroom to make that part easier.
Create a room, add a supported video or track, and share the room link. Shared play, pause and seek controls keep playback connected. Friends can add their picks to a shared queue when room permissions allow, and there is text chat alongside the player.
Creating a room, using the queue and chatting are free. Friends do not need a Cliqroom account, app download or browser extension. It supports YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, Dailymotion and SoundCloud, plus browser compatible direct media links and compatible local video files.
Who should use Cliqroom?
couples and small groups watching videos or listening to music remotely, Friends are the clearest fit based on how the product is positioned.
