What does CohortCrosswalk do?
CohortCrosswalk is an offline category review app from Perunlight Corp for successive CSV and TSV releases. Assign corresponding columns to a shared concept, review exact source codes separately for each release, and record target categories or explicit missing reasons. Original strings, columns and row order stay in the output beside appended results.
Complete export requires the recorded decisions to be resolved. The ZIP includes transformed tables, a decision ledger, coverage, a saved project, an HTML report and file hashes. Many-to-one category merges require a reason and acknowledgement of information loss. Saved projects reopen against the same original filenames and hashes; there is no autosave.
The app records human decisions; it does not infer equivalent meanings or certify scientific correctness. Intended for nonclinical open aggregate data. Verified in Chrome 152 on Linux, with documented combined input limits. Other platforms are unverified.
Price: $19 USD, one-time purchase. The download includes the app, MIT runtime source, illustrated manual and fictional examples. A free pack contains the manual, practice CSV/TSV files and expected results, without the app.
