What does Frame Witness do?
Frame Witness is a proprietary Windows desktop application for examining recoverable photo and video content from supported disks and acquired images. A visual gallery and player sit alongside source offsets, SHA-256 hashes, available date provenance and a coverage report. A free account enables a limited quick scan, previews and small-file exports; full scans, larger exports and advanced tools require a licence. Recovery depends on surviving data and supported structures: previews and hashes do not prove complete recovery or the original provenance of a file. The official release is digitally signed by Aurelio Avila. Windows 11 has been tested; Windows 10 and physically failing hardware have not been validated. The supplied interface screenshots use synthetic test media. Developed by Aurelio Avila; this is a maker submission for editorial review, not an independent review. Current pricing and licence terms are on the official site.
