About the product

What does HowFastIsNet do?

HowFastIsNet is a free browser-based internet speed test. It measures download and upload speed, response time and variation in response time, then explains the result and suggests a practical first step. Visitors can compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet or repeat a test near the router. Guides cover gaming, video calls, slow Wi-Fi, uploads and backups, and evening slowdowns. English, French and Spanish interfaces are available. No installation or account is required. The test measures the connection from the current device; it does not measure Wi-Fi signal strength or identify an exact fault.
