About the product

What does Masaka for Codex do?

Masaka for Codex is an Apache-2.0 local CLI for macOS and Linux. Each profile represents one ChatGPT account and workspace pair and owns a separate CODEX_HOME. The official Codex CLI continues to own browser login, token refresh, and credential files. Masaka can inspect profile status and usage windows, switch future direct processes, and on Apple Silicon optionally route newly started native Codex clients through a pinned loopback-only proxy. It does not share authentication between people, copy tokens, bypass quotas, or move an in-flight response between accounts. It requires Node.js 22+, Python 3, and the official Codex CLI; the public package is installed with npm install -g @masakaai/codex-multiple-env. Source, releases, tests, security notes, and exact Direct versus Proxy boundaries are public. Submitted by a project maintainer for independent editorial review; no favorable wording, rating, reciprocal link, or paid placement is requested.
