Pick a chord name to see its shapes, or switch to Identify on fretboard, enter the fret you play on each string, and it lists every exact match, including slash chords when the bass note is not the root. Set a capo first and the matches show the chord you actually hear. Press Hear chord to play the selected notes with recorded instrument samples. The site also has guitar scales, chord progressions, transpose and capo charts, and beginner chord guides. It works from the frets you enter; it does not listen through a microphone.
