About the product

What does Postquel do?

Postquel is a free, open-source PostgreSQL client for macOS, built with SwiftUI and AppKit. It lets you browse and edit table rows, follow foreign keys, inspect structure and DDL, and run SQL queries. Its assistant connects to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor Agent already installed and signed in on your Mac. The assistant reads your schema and runs read-only queries, while data changes are proposed for you to dry-run and apply. SSH tunnels and macOS Keychain password storage are included. The app runs on Apple silicon and Intel with macOS 15 or later. It is MIT-licensed and still a work in progress. Source code: https://github.com/frizurd/postquel
