What does SalesSimulator do?
SalesSimulator is a German-language web app from Rauschwerk Verlag, operated by Tim-Ralf Heise, for practising sales conversations with fictional AI customers. Users write their own replies and receive AI-generated feedback tied to the conversation. The current catalogue contains 55 text exercises and practice cases, 46 method trainings and a learning path from beginner to advanced and professional practice.
For example, the price-objection exercise asks users to respond to a fictional customer after quoting a website project. The task is to understand the customer’s comparison before explaining scope or discussing a discount. Other exercises cover discovery, qualification, value, objections, closing and negotiation.
There are two free conversation starts in total without an account. Every new attempt counts as a further start. The optional text subscription costs EUR 20 per month including 19% VAT, renews monthly, and can be cancelled for the end of the paid month. It includes up to eight starts per Europe/Berlin calendar day. Short exercises allow six user replies; longer method trainings and complete practice cases allow up to 12, with the length shown before starting.
The product is text-only; voice is currently unavailable. Users should use fictional information rather than confidential customer data. Conversation and feedback remain available for six hours; aggregate training values remain in the account. Feedback is AI-generated and may be inaccurate.
