What does Pratnome do?
Pratnome is a metronome built around gradual tempo practice. You set a starting tempo, how many bars to play and how much to change, for example 70 BPM, +10 every 4 bars, up to 120, and it moves through the steps on its own, so you don’t have to stop playing to adjust it.
Other features:
– Silent bars for checking your own timing: the click plays for a few bars, then drops out
– Practice programs: ordered steps, each with its own tempo, bar count and time signature; save them or share them as a link
– Subdivisions (eighths, triplets, sixteenths), swing, and per-beat accents (strong, normal, soft, mute)
– Optional session target by time or number of bars
– Practice history with personal bests
It works in the browser without an account and is available in English, Turkish and French. The iPhone and Android apps are free with a small banner ad.
