What does Tale do?
Tale brings teams and configured AI agents into a shared project workspace. Tasks, files, discussions, and project context stay together, while people explicitly delegate suitable work, inspect run history, review deliverables, and request revisions. Persistent agent sandboxes preserve work context between runs. Documented API and authenticated MCP access are available per deployment.
It supports ongoing collaboration on software delivery, research, document preparation, marketing projects, and operations. Setup, provider configuration, and human review are required. Task assignment alone should not be interpreted as automatic agent execution.
The MIT-licensed Community edition is free to self-host. Infrastructure, hosting, and model-provider costs are separate; optional Enterprise operation and support services are described on the pricing page.
